    All About Me

     
    I joined Summerwood Elementary in 2017 and have taught in Humble ISD for 7 years. I moved with my family to Kingwood and joined Humble ISD in 2015 with 21 years of experience from Cypress Fairbanks ISD in Houston and Cypress, Texas. My teaching experiences include Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th grade, in all subjects.  I also worked with teachers on a campus as an instructional specialist for nine years in Cypress Fairbanks ISD. I have a passion for working with kids and helping them be their best!
    I grew up in College Station, Texas and attended Texas A&M University with an emphasis in mathematics and English as a Second Language.  My master's degrees include curriculum & instruction and educational administration.  I'm an avid college football fan and love to root for Texas teams in all sports. My other interests are listening to music, traveling and reading!  My family includes my husband, Jason and three children! Michael, my son and his wife, Violette and two children live in California.  I also have two daughters, Emma and Morgan who are in high school and middle school!   We are a dog family loving our three pugs, one poodle, and our sweet Gunner!
