  • All About Me

    I have taught 26 years.  This is my 24th year at Greentree.  I'm a teacher, mom, and someone who loves to watch kids explore and learn.  I graduated from Texas A&M and continued in their Professional Developmental Program.  I worked with the same school as a behavior aide and then taught second grade for two years.  I moved to Kingwood in 1998.  I have found a home here at Greentree.  My family attended Greentree and has since leveled up through Creekwood and are currently at KHS.   I have lots of connections through Kingwood schools with my family participating in Music and Athletics.  Also you will see me at other events with lots of nieces and nephews in local schools.  Some of my favorite things are Sonic drinks, queso, and watching movies.   I enjoy working in our Greentree Butterfly Garden.  I can't wait to allow our Gators to explore the garden!   

     

     

     
Educational Philosophy

  • Educational Philosophy:  Every child is gifted; they just unwrap their packages at different times.  My hope is to be patient, caring, and find a fun way to help children learn and parents support their child during the year.  I enjoy sharing ideas with parents to help their child excel.  Everyday is a new day of discovery and taking steps to develop problem solving and comprehension.

    Blue Folder comes home on Monday-Thursday/return each day
    Red Folder on Monday/return it Tuesday 
    Homereaders will come home on various days.

    We will visit the library as a whole class on Thursday.  It will be part of our specials.
