Together your child and their counselor will discuss a variety of things including but not necessarily limited to:
Goals for the year (Academic, personal, emotional, social)
Goals for after high school
Questions pertaining to GPA, college, Sconzo, School System
Career Attainment and discovery
College Identification, applications and choices
Course selection and Verification
Hobbies, Interests, Passions
Study Habits, time management strategies
The opportunity to meet your students one on one provides an enlightening opportunity for the counseling staff as it provides for a great opportunity to help your students meet their next goal. We love getting to know who they are and where they would like to go with their futures. Our goal as a counseling college/career readiness team is to work collaboratively with your students to help them find their path!
Rest assured, if your student has not officially met with their counselor, they absolutely will before the end of the semester. It is our goal to meet with every student this year!
Please feel free to call or email as needed for any questions regarding your student's schedule.
