What's Happening in Music Heading

    Every Wednesday Until 4:30

    Students needing extra practice with music concepts are welcome to stay on Wednesday until 4:30.

    Honor Choir

    Coming Soon to a Stage Near You!

    WPE Honor Choir will hopefully begin in October! Since I will still be getting to know students and their voices, all students interested will need to audition for a spot in the choir. More information will be sent as the school year gets underway.

    All students at WPE will have the opportunity to participate in a grade-level program! Woohoo!  I am so excited to showcase the talents of our students  and share our performance abilities with each WPE family! Dates for the programs will be announced soon and important details will be sent in the weeks leading up to each program.

Meet the Teacher

  • Hello Panda Friends and Families!

    I am so excited to be joining the WPE Specials Team!  This will be my 4th year of teaching (and I am hoping it will be “normal”) and my 1st in Humble ISD. My background is in Vocal Music Education and prior to teaching I spent many years performing in professional choirs and as a producer/director for several operas.

    Music is my passion and has been a gateway to so many opportunities in my life. I  studied in Germany for a summer and later returned for a performance tour,  I have traveled all across Texas, and even performed my favorite piece of music at the Lincoln Center in NYC.

    I am dedicated to provide a positive and collaborative environment where every student gets to sing, play, dance, and explore within a community. I hope that everyone finds a home in my classroom this year! All are welcome and able to discover, create, and grow as musicians.
