Dear Parents/Guardians:

The Autumn Ridge Math department is committed to providing a community of safe learning where students can feel free to practice and experience math struggle to mastery of concepts.  Students will be allowed time to explore and experiment with numbers and collaborate with peers about the content.

Autumn Ridge Middle School students will engage in authentic and high-quality learning experiences. Our classes will allow students to become critical thinkers, productive strugglers and an opportunity to value math challenges in rich math applications.

Our curriculum is designed for students to engage in inquiry, discussions, writing, making predictions, and our Portrait of the Graduate competencies. These skills give students many opportunities to practice problem solving that will build long lasting learners for the future.
