International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP)

  • *Requires an approved Student Transfer Application

    The International Baccalaureate Program is a globally-recognized educational program that teaches from an international perspective with a college-level curriculum.  The IB Diploma Program begins in the 11th grade and lasts for two years until graduation. 

    The IB Diploma Program is ideal for students who are looking to attend an elite university in the United States or overseas. 

    This rigorous, two-year program is located on the Humble High School campus. Applications for this program can be found on the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP) website.

Quest Early College High School

  • Quest Early College High School is a small school that will be located at 9155 Will Clayton Parkway. Qualified students can earn both a high school diploma and an Associate's degree or up to two years of credit toward a Bachelor's degree.  Although QECHS is a School of Choice, their enrollment process is unique to their campus.

    Transportation to Quest Early College High School is based on designated elementary campus pick-up sites.

T-STEM Academy

    The instruction provided in the T-STEM Academy at Humble High School is strikingly different from what is found in traditional secondary classroom settings. The goal of the T-STEM Academy is to prepare students to excel in an information-based and technologically-advanced society. We are committed to leading educational reform and our instructional program encourages students to learn through collaboration with peers, businesses, and the community.

    Our STEM pathways include engineering and bioscience. And, our curriculum brings together the strength of modern technology, community partnerships, problem solving, interdisciplinary instruction, and global perspectives in a student-centered, collaborative, project-based community.

Dual Language Program

  • The Two-Way Dual Language Program is a bilteracy program model that integrates native Spanish speakers and native English speakers in a mixed group setting through literacy in the core content areas of Math, Reading, Language Arts, Science and Social Studies.

    The goal of the Dual Language Program is to help students become bilingual, biliterate and bicultural while promoting high academic achievement. Students in the Dual Language Program develop an appreciation and cross-cultural understanding of others. The Dual Language Program provides students an opportunity to obtain a Seal of Bilteracy Performance Acknowledgement upon graduation while preparing for college, career and life choices.

    Students enroll in the Dual Language Program in Kindergarten, and it is offered at Humble Elementary School during the 2021-2022 school year.

Spanish Immersion Program

  • The Spanish Immersion Program (SIP) is a language enrichment program that provides Spanish as a second language instruction to fluent English speaking students through the core academic content areas (Math, Reading, Language Arts, Science and Social Studies).

    Students enroll in the Spanish Immersion Program in Kindergarten. They must have an English Level 8 on a Developmental Reading Assessment, and they must have a Kindergarten Literacy/Language Checklist Assessment.

    The program is offered at the following schools during the 2021-2022 school year:

    • Bear Branch Elementary: 1st through 5th grade
    • Centennial Elementary: 1st through 3rd grade
    • Elementary #30: 1st grade 
    • Groves Elementary: 1st through 5th grade
    • Pine Forest Elementary: 1st through 5th grade
    • Creekwood Middle School: Advanced Spanish
    • West Lake Middle School: Advanced Spanish
