Humble ISD will resume school on Wednesday, September 15. District staff are checking all buildings so that campuses are ready for school on Wednesday.

Humble ISD classes are canceled for Tuesday, Sept. 14. There will not be school online or on campus so that students and staff can remain at home while there is the potential for heavy rainfall and hazardous road conditions from Tropical Storm Nicholas. An announcement regarding school for Wednesday, Sept. 15, will be made on Tuesday after the storm has moved through our area. Announcements are posted to www.humbleisd.net and sent to parents and staff by email and text. 

The following precautions regarding after-school activities are being taken due to Tropical Storm Nicholas:

• Elementary School - There will be no elementary school after-school activities on Monday, Sept. 13. The YMCA After School Program asks parents whose children are enrolled in the program to pick up children early from after-school care if possible today.

• Middle School - There will be no middle school after-school activities. This includes all middle school football games, which will not be played on Monday, Sept. 13.

• High School - High school after-school activities must conclude by 5:30 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 13, so that students and staff can get home safely. 

The district is continually monitoring the forecast and will announce at approximately 6:30 p.m. Monday whether there will be classes on Tuesday, Sept. 14.
