Get To Know Me

I am originally from Mississippi. I have been living in Houston since 2003. My experience in education, either early childhood education or in the school district, has lasted for 19 years. Writing is a passion of mine. I have self published a book, and I am currently writing the first edition in a series of children's books. This year, I am pushing very hard to ensure that my students are successful and proficient writers before the STAAR test. I want them to develop the same level of passion for writing that I have now.
