Hello!! Welcome to my webpage!!!
My name is Terri Criner. I am a Reading Interventionist/Dyslexia teacher here at Oaks Elementary.
I started teaching in Oklahoma in 1994 and have been in education for 28 years. I have taught 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th. I have been at Oaks Elementary for 15 years and I can 100% say that I am so proud to be an Oaks Owl. The students, staff and community work so well together for the betterment of all our students. It has been my lifelong dream to be a teacher. I can think of no greater joy than teaching and fostering a lifelong love of learning in a child. Oaks Elementary is committed to students achieving the highest levels of learning required for every child’s success. #everychildeveryday.
I have been married for 27 years to husband J.R. and we have two adult children. Our son, Austin, is 24 years old. He is a special needs adult and goes to school/work through Bloom Vocational and Consulting in the Mission Life Program. Our daughter Alicen is 21 and is a Vocal Performance Major at Oklahoma State University. (Go Pokes!!!)
