Humble ISD celebrated its Centennial during the 2018-2019 school year. Several special events were held across the district, including (1) unveiling of the district history archive website , (2) a district-wide Pep Rally, (3) a 100th Anniversary Celebration ("100 Years in the Making") at Turner Stadium with nationally-recognized Pastor Joel Osten (Humble High School) as the guest speaker, (4) 100 Years and 100 Days celebration at the campuses, (5) the unveiling of a Texas State Historical Marker, (6) Historical Dress-Up Days at the campuses, and (7) numerous campuses participating in the City of Humble Christmas Parade of Lights

Charles Bender High School
Charles Bender High School served as the district's only high school 1930-1965. The City of Humble took it over in 2011 and renovated it into a Performing Arts Center. Read more about this remarkable building.

The 1916 Benefit Concert
The Humble Schools almost had to close two months early due to a shortage of state funds.  A benefit concert was held to raise funds for the district from wealthy patrons in Houston. Read more about the 1916 Benefit Concert.
