    Students should be dropped off in the morning at one of two locations:

    • front circle driveway and enter through the front door of the building
    • side drive off of Pine Cup and enter through the cafeteria doors 

     

    DISMISSAL

     

    Car Riders

    ·   Print your child’s name and grade level clearly visible in LARGE BOLD BLACK INK on the car plaque.

    ·   Place plaque in the front window of your vehicle for the duration of the school year.

    ·   Enter/exit front drop off/pick up area on West Lake Houston Parkway (WLH).

    ·   Enter front drive from WLH right lane.  Keep left lane clear for through traffic on WLH.

    ·   Refrain from using cell phones in school zone including the parking lot, drop off, and pick up areas.

    ·   No parking in dropoff/pickup lanes – remain in vehicles

     

    Vehicles should form two lanes in the front circle driveway. Cars will use both lanes and stop at the five colored flags/cones. Please put the car in "park" while waiting for students to be loaded. Students will be loaded into vehicles by adults. Cars will be waved through once all cars are loaded with the left lane going first.  The right lane will then be waved through.  This procedure will help to keep the roadway clear for emergency vehicles and passing traffic on West Lake Houston Parkway.  Please be cautious of students by providing them the right of way when crossing lanes. For safety purposes, students should never be dropped off/picked up at the street on West Lake Houston Parkway or Pine Cup.

     

    Car Poolers  (two or more students in one vehicle)

    ·   Pick up color-coded carpool plaque in the front office.

    ·   Print children’s name and grade level clearly visible in LARGE BOLD BLACK INK.

    ·   Place plaque daily in the front window of your vehicle for the duration of the school year.

    ·   Enter/exit side drop off/pick up area on the Pine Cup Drive entrance by the curb at the flagpole.

    ·   Students will be directed to the five cones outside the cafeteria doors.  Parents, please pull up to cone for an adult to assist in

       loading students.

    ·   Refrain from using the cell phone in the school zone including the parking lot, drop off, and pick up areas.

    ·   No parking in dropoff/pickup lanes – remain in vehicles.

     

     

    Bus/Daycare

    • Students will be dismissed from the cafeteria and loaded onto buses/daycare vans. 

     

    Walkers and Bikers

    • Walkers and bikers will be dismissed from the back of the building. Students will walk with their grade level in a line along the sidewalk and be released at 3 different locations:
      • PFE Walker Pickup (grassy area along northeast sidewalk)
      • at the 4 way stop intersection (Atascosita Pines Drive and Pine Cup)
      • at the stoplight (West Lake Houston and Pine Cup)

     

    Help us keep PFE safe by not dropping off/picking up students in the faculty/visitor parking lot.
