LSE Drama Club
The LSE Drama Club is an extremely popular after-school activity available to all Lakeshore students in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade. In 2013, the Drama Club eclipsed 140 students and needed to be split into 2 groups, each rehearsing and performing on different days. The Drama Club prepares two musicals each school year; one during the holidays and one in late Spring. Unlike the Spotted Half Notes, the Drama Club does NOT require auditions for participation. This group is a way for students to Lakeshore to further develop their talents and love of music, singing, and acting. This group focuses on leadership, teamwork, hard work, and dedication. We also try to have some fun, as well!
Things to Know:
Any student in 3rd, 4th, or 5th grade is welcome to join the LSE Drama Club. There are no auditions to be accepted into this group, however students that are interested in being a lead role will be asked to prepare short auditions.
Due to the anticipated size of the LSE Drama Club, the group will be split into two mirrored groups. Each group will prepare and perform the same production on different days.
Rehearsals for the Drama Club are Tuesdays or Thursdays from 3:15pm - 4:15pm. ALL STUDENTS must be picked up in the back of the school by the gym doors/cafeteria. Please be waiting at 4:15.
