Hello Panda Family!
My name is Betsy Silvers and I will be teaching 2nd grade this year! I am so excited to meet all the students and families. I can’t wait to become part of this village that will help all students learn and reach their highest potential. I grew up in Birmingham, AL and then graduated from Auburn University (War Eagle!) with my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. I am new to the area as I just moved here from Warner Robins, GA, where I lived for 10 years. I am beyond thrilled to be teaching at Whispering Pines Elementary School for my first year in Humble ISD. I have been married to my husband, Dustin Silvers, for 10 years and we have three daughters. Sophia and Olivia are twins and they are 8 years old. Our youngest daughter, Amilia, is 5 years old. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, shopping, crafting, and watching college football. It would be my absolute pleasure to help you or your student in any way to make sure we come together to help them be successful.
