About Mrs. Griffin

  • I am so incredibly excited about rejoining the Fall Creek family this year. I will be teaching 4th grade Reading, Language Arts, and Texas History. As a former student of Humble ISD, I love being able to continue the incredible educational legacy as I begin my 10th year teaching in this district.

I grew up in Kingwood and attended Elm Grove Elementary, Kingwood Middle School, and Kingwood High School. I attended Fairmont State University where I sang in the choir and was on the cheerleading team for several years. I was accepted into the Masters program at West Virginia University and transferred there to complete my education. I graduated from West Virginia University in 2013 with my bachelors and a Master of Arts in Elementary Education and Special Education.

I live in the Kingwood area with my husband Matthew, son Kaden (6), and daughter Ryleigh (4). I absolutely love being a teacher and feel it is an honor to be able to surround myself with such incredible colleagues and students daily. I welcome communication and believe that the best way to help students reach their maximum potential is to be a cohesive team between home and school.
