The mission of the Summerwood Student Council is to foster essential leadership skills, promote school spirit, and provide meaningful service to our school and community.  Student Council representatives are expected to be role models in the classroom, throughout our school, and at all the school functions.  Members will perform duties that include:  pland and attend school functions, participate in community service projects, volunteer at the school store, and promote school spirit.

Our student council is comprised of fifth grade students who exemplify exceptional leadership skills.  There is a voting process that will take place in the classroom.  The fifth grade students will have 2 representatives in each classroom.
