Welcome to 3rd!
-
I'm excited about starting my 11th year at Foster as your child's third grade teacher! I've been teaching elementary school for 18 years, and I believe that we are a community of learners and thinkers. The atmosphere created in our classroom prepares children for their entire lives. Real learning happens when mistakes are made, and we take the time to learn from those mistakes. Although we are faced with new challenges, we continue to grow as leaders and create goals for ourselves and our class. This is going to be an exciting new adventure! You'll be impressed as you see your children transform this school year.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns. This year, email will be our best way to communicate. Please note that I do not check my phone messages until after school.

Important 3rd grade info:
- Take home folders: These will contain communication from the classroom and school. They will include graded papers and occasional reports. Please return the folder the next day.
- Breakfast and lunch menus are online.
- Please bring a healthy snack and water bottle to school every day. Students will have access to a water bottle filling station. Please make sure the snack is neat and easy to open.
- If you have a change in transportation, you must call the school before 2:30, or send a note with your child.
- If your student is absent, they need to have a note when they return to school.
HOMEWORK
