Guest teacher pay increase continues throughout the spring semester
Guest teachers in Humble ISD will continue to receive an extra $40 per day in pay through May 27, 2022, under a temporary pay increase approved by the Board of Trustees. With the extra $40, guest teachers in Humble ISD will continue to earn $120 per day with 60 or more college hours, $130 per day if degreed, and $140 per day if a Texas certified teacher. For a retired Humble ISD teacher, the rate is $175 per day.

Elementary Attendance Zones
Humble ISD invited parents of students at Autumn Creek, Centennial, Eagle Springs, Groves, and Ridge Creek elementary schools to a Community Input Meeting regarding changes to elementary school attendance zones. The meeting was open to the public and held on Tuesday, Nov. 30. Attendance zone options being considered by the School Attendance Area Committee may be viewed online at humbleisd.net/elementaryzoning
You are invited to leave a comment about the proposal using the Humble ISD Elementary Zoning Input Form through Dec. 8. All input is read and thoroughly considered.
Autumn Ridge Middle School Attendance Area Approved
Autumn Ridge Middle School (MS#10), which opens in August 2022, is being built at 15201 Woodland Hills Drive, near Ridge Creek Elementary School. The Recommended Attendance Area for ARMS was approved at the May 11 meeting of the Humble ISD Board of Trustees.
Humble ISD is closed Monday, Jan. 17 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day
Classes resume for all students on Tuesday, Jan. 18
