  • Black Light Dance
    NJHS and StuCo are hosting a Black Light Dance on Friday, October 1. Sixth graders come from 5:30-7:00 and 7th/8th graders are from 7:30-9:00. Tickets are $5 and sold during lunch the week of the dance 9/28 - 10/1 and may also be purchased at the door.

  • Start With Hello Week
    This week is Start with Hello Week, which was started in response to the Sandy Hook shooting. The purpose of the week is to promote knowing each other and acts of kindness to prevent harassment and violence towards others. See this week's Tiger Tales for each day's activity.

  • Yearbooks
    Yearbooks are now on sale for ONLINE purchasing! Go to Balfour.com to order your yearbook today! Now through October 1, yearbooks are being offered at the "back to school" discounted price of $35. After October 1, yearbooks will go to $45. Parents, would you like to purchase a yearbook advertisement, to recognize your kiddo in the yearbook? Ads are offered online as well, with choices to create 1/8 of a page ($25), 1/4 of a page ($50) or 1/2 of a page ($75).

  • Credit by Exam
    For students interested in Advancement/Acceleration without prior instruction, the first testing window will be available October 18-22 and the deadline to register is October 1.   • G/T Referral and Testing – Grades K-12
    Any students in grades K-12 may be referred for the Gifted/Talented (G/T) program between September 1, 2021 and September 30, 2021.   See Humble ISD Advanced Academics Website for more information and for the referral form to refer your child.

  • Battle of the Books

    AMS had two teams compete at the district-wide Battle of the Books competition. Books Anomaly (Abby Schwer, Ally Wengenroth, Kynzi Martinez, and Adelyn Rusli) made it to Round 2 and won Best Team Name. Expecto Patronum (Camryn Parrott, Jonathan Hark, and Aubrie MacDonald) were the Runners Up.

  • AVID Site of Distinction

    AMS is one of five Humble ISD campuses named as AVID Schoolwide Sites of Distinction, a designation earned by only 7% of the AVID secondary campuses nationwide! Schoolwide Site of Distinction is the highest certification level earned by AVID campuses.
